Britwell stormed into the Semi Finals of the Slough Town Premier Cup after a 4-1 win against Langley F.C Under 23s on Saturday.
Charlie Graves is the new player-manager of The Steam Team this season and desperate to win the club a first-ever Slough Town Cup, and his side won emphatically in the Quarter Finals tie at Britwell Community Centre.
The victors can boast four different goals scorers; Aydn Christian, Tomas O’Reilly, Nathan Sethi and Bryan Taylor.
Britwell will travel to either A.F.C Reading, beaten finalists in the Junior Cup last season, or current Premier Cup holders, Old Windsor in the Semi Finals in February 2025.
Old Windsor breezed into the Second Round of the Ascot & Fielden District Charity Cup competition with a 4-0 victory over Chalvey Sports.
Goals from both Chris Tierney and Sam George gave the visitors to George Pitcher Memorial Ground a clear lead at the break. Both Joe Richards and substitute Dylan Harbridge hit the back of the net in the second half of the First Round tie.
The reward for Old Windsor is a Second Round tie away at Pundit F.C on Saturday 7 December (1.30pm).
Slough Heating Laurencians Reserves are out of the Berks & Bucks F.A David Grainge Trophy competition this season after a 2-0 defeat against Kintbury Rangers Development.
Two goals from Harry Murtagh in the first 11 minutes was the difference between the two sides in the Third Round tie at The Polish Club.
Caversham United are through to the Third Round of the competition after a 5-3 win on penalties in an all-East Berkshire League tie against Old Windsor Reserves. The match ended 3-3 after 90 minutes at the Old Windsor Recreation Ground.
The Billygoats scored twice inside the opening five minutes through Daniel Amponsah and Ross Blakemore, and must have thought the tie was over when Amponsah scored again before half-time.
Old Windsor however, produced a very spirited comeback to level the scores in the second half with Mark Walker, Sean Blandford and substitute Ollie Ellis all finding a route to goal. The equaliser from Ellis was scored three minutes into time added on at the end of the game.
Caversham then impressively held their nerve best to score all five penalties and advance in the competition, up next is a trip to Wraysbury in round three on Saturday 7 December (1.30pm ko).
