F.C. Bracknell set a new record for the Biggest Win of the Season in the East Berkshire League with a 14-0 mauling of HKRG United on Saturday.

The Division One leaders are re-writing the records book in their debut season, with this most recent success their 13th league win in a row and extending their lead at the top of the table to nine points.

The game at Great Hollands Recreation Ground was over as a contest when Bracknell scored 10 goals without reply in the first half, and the home team added four more in the second period.

Hype Train are continuing with their push for promotion thanks to a 3-0 victory over Caversham United, a fourth success on the bounce for The Train.

Phil Newport was the star on show at the Mapledurham Playing Fields as his hat-trick ensured all three points for the visiting side.

The win means The Train are now level on points with fourth-placed Old Windsor Reserves and outside of the promotion places on goals difference only.

Caversham have now suffered back-to-back defeats in the league for the very first time, with an injury crises the reason behind their recent slump in form.

The Billygoats remain in third position but now a whopping 11 points behind the pace set by F.C. Bracknell and only a single point inside the promotion spots.
