The Slough Town Junior Cup competition got under way on Saturday with both Frontline F.C. Reserves and Real Saracens winning in the First Round.
The Cup competition Finals will return to the heart of Slough for the first time since 1999 after a deal was reached with Slough Town F.C for the two showpiece events to be played at The Arbour Park Stadium.
Frontline F.C. Reserves and Real Saracens used this added incentive to beat Bracknell Aces and Prospect F.C and book their tickets into the Quarter Finals of the Junior Cup.
Two goals from William Wooden and one from substitute Abdulrasaq Aremu were not the right Aces in the pack for Bracknell at Burnham Grammar School. The visitors suffering a 6-3 defeat, and their chances not helped by a red card shown to Alex Girling.
The reward for Frontline F.C Reserves is a home tie against Taplow United Swans in the Quarter Finals on Saturday 23rd November 2024.
Real Saracens will host F.C Bracknell in the last eight of the competition, and on the same date in November, following their 3-1 victory over Prospect at the George Pitcher Memorial Ground.
There were three different goals scorers for the winning side; Musab Hanif, Thomas Randall and Hassan Zishan. Prospect player-manager, Dawid Jarzebowski, was on target for his side.
