Old Windsor have reached a first-ever Slough Town Cup final after a 4-0 win against Frontline on Saturday.

The O’s proved too good for their visitors thanks to a brace from Harry Farnham and a man-of-the-match performance by Brad Birchmore. Both Ben Wilson and Chris Tierney were also on the scoresheet en route to the final.

Old Windsor will meet one of their Premier Division rivals in the Cup final - Britwell and Singh Sabha go head to head at the Chicken Ranch this Saturday (1.30pm).

It was not to be for the Frontline first team but, the Reserve side could reach the final of the Slough Town Junior Cup with a win against Reading YMCA Vets at Burnham Grammar School on Saturday (1.30pm).

The only other game to go ahead last weekend saw Eton Wick beat Sandhurst Town 4-1 and climb one place to fifth in the Division One table. Alexis Lyle bagged a brace for The Wick with further goals from Jack Holloran and Josh James.

Damage caused by Storm Eunice on Friday and the ensuing rain on Saturday caused the rest of the East Berkshire League programme to be postponed.

The bottom four of the Premier Division are all in action this Saturday (2pm) with the relegation battle no doubt set for a twist and turn. The action includes an intriguing meeting between red-hot Stoke Poges and Hype Train, who have shown in glimpses what they are capable of this season.

Our next Showcase Match between Eton Wick and Baylis United headlines the action in Division One, with both teams looking to make a late push for promotion this season.

Both Old Windsor first and reserve teams will bid to book a place in the Quarter Finals of the League Cup and Presidents Cup, standing in their way is Southcote and The Riverside.
