The race for promotion from East Berkshire League Division One continues to boil away with three of the top five all recording high-scoring wins on Saturday.
F.C. Bracknell are relentless in their pursuit of championship gold in their first-ever season in the East Berkshire League and extended their impressive winning streak to 12 games with a 3-0 success over Prospect F.C
The win means F.C. Bracknell are now six points clear at the top of the table, but the young guns have played at least one more game than the chasing pack.
It should be noted that the league leaders still have to travel to Slough Heating Laurencians Reserves, Caversham United and Old Windsor Reserves as well as host Hype Train, the only side to have beaten them in Division One so far in the campaign.
F.C. Bracknell will also have their credentials put to the test by new rivals Bracknell Aces in the upcoming Showcase Match event, the Battle of Bracknell at the Arbour Park Stadium in Slough on Friday 28 February (7.45pm). Old Windsor Reserves consolidated fourth position with a 7-0 thumping of bottom side Barton Rovers at Theale Green School. It is the Os’ fifth league win on the bounce and the team has banged in 36 goals in the process, at an impressive average of more than seven goals per game.
Ollie Ellis was the chief destroyer for the visitors with a hat-trick, whilst Joe Webster found a route to goal in each half. The other goals scorers were Luke White and substitute Oliver Cottrill.

Hype Train moved up one place to fifth position in the table following a 7-4 victory against Bracknell Aces in an entertaining game at Waingels College.
The Train steamed into a three goals lead inside the opening 10 minutes with Obeydah Abdulwahab, Mitchell Saunders and Nadim Gharabli all hitting the back of the net. A Mark Bush brace ensured the game was over as a contest before the break, although Bracknell Aces were able to pull a goal back.
The Aces showed some character to reduce the deficit in the second half with Lewis Lancaster scoring twice, and Justin Colyer and Harvey Webber also on target.
Hype Train made sure of the points with additional goals from Emmanuel Cudjoe and substitute Mohammad Ilyas. The hosts were reduced to 10 men when Ilyas was shown a straight red card 10 minutes into time added on at the end of the match.
Real Saracens ended a six-match winless streak in Division One with a 2-1 success at HKRG United, moving them side up one place to eighth in the table.
All of the goals came in the second period at Ryeish Green Sports Hub with Josiah Ma on target for United. His side remain second from bottom in the standings.
